All about IMU (Ball song)

saw this on youtube a couple of days ago..
the video was shown during the IMU ball 2006, produced by the medic students..we had a good laugh at it..i still find it very funny after watching it again..brings back some of the memories while we were in IMU, especially the part about the indian lecturer..remember hw noisy we were that time??he gt very angry and scolded us..and we din even realise tat he was scolding us!!lolz

Gotong-royong..

as hardworking + pretty housewives..we dutifully spent our sunday afternoon to clean our beloved J 9 flat..

*useful tip: to prevent from waiting for the ice to naturally MELT til DUNO WHEN..boil hot water and place inside the fridge..
hehe..kha hong seems to enjoy doing housework..

...whereas suokteng tak habis-habis 碎碎念 " wat lar these ppl....why wanna inspect our apartment on fri??!!!WHY??!!!summore gonna fine if not clean!!" its ok..our apartment oways that clean..no need to worry..:P

and since she keeps complaining that her pic is ugly..I SHALL INCLUDE IT IN MY BLOG..haha!

me..费了九牛二虎之力..wipe wipe wipe.. at some point..darren was downstairs with widely-opened mouth looking at us...stunned by our rajin-ness..FINALLY...

after whole afternoon of hard work..our apartment looks sparkling clean..

everything is soooo neat..:) looking at the amount of food we possess(the above pic is onli about 40% of our total amount of food)..its not difficult to figure out why i can gain weight in such a short period!!

CONCLUSION...being a housewife is rili tiring...and OMG..i still need to clean up my room within these few days..*pengsan*..

as usual..buying groceries..

today i went to buy groceries with sue choo..

before reaching tesco..we went to Poundland...when suechoo was looking at the dish-washing liquid..i suddenly recalled tat our house's liquid nearly ran out and told her bout it..and she showed the extremely 炸到 expressions.."hey..i was telling u about that since just now..!!!more than twice i think!!" oops!sorry harr...HAHA!!2 possibilities then: either sc was IMAGINING that she has told me but actually the words remained in her head..OR..i wasnt paying attention..(yaya..i noe..suokteng and kha hong definitely think that the latter is more possible..)

anyway..we met suokteng(who went out earlier than us) outside tesco and she was oledi on her way back..she volunteered to take the things we bought..so since both our hands were empty..suechoo and i happily went to the shop opposite tesco hunting for clothes..after searching and trying..both of us berjaya to buy a shirt each..yay!:)

after that..we were finally in Tesco buying groceries..spent our sweet time surveying and comparing prices..and ended up buying quite a lot again..

on the way back..

suechoo suddenly gasped,' HEY!!we forgot to buy GINGER!!' (oops!! that was one of our main purpose of going out at the 1st place..and i actually took out our shopping list when we were in Tesco..but after that we were distracted by other items and TOTALLY forgot about it..)

after a few seconds..we remembered that we OSO forgot to buy capsican and fruits..er..which are also the things that we're supposed to buy..the fact is..the things we bought werent in the list and some of the things in the list..we forgot pulak..kinda ridiculous!!both of us laughed all the way til we reached home!!CUAK SAI!!

hmm..there's a saying that when guys go shopping..they have a clear aim about what they're going to buy..and so they'll just focus on their target and chose whatever they want and leave..well..when gals go shopping..they oso have aims..just that they'll always end up with other things as well and forget all about their initial aim..i guess we've just proven that theory to be quite true..*cough

Babel..

Friday nite again..the time when i can just sit back and relax..

Watched Babel ..which is a 2.5 hour movie that has won a lot of awards since last year..the storyline is rili hard to explain..basically it involves 4 different scenarios happening simultaneously in Morocco, San Diego, Mexico and Japan..which explores culture clashes in life.. for me..the plot was kinda disturbing at first, but the story gets better and better after a while...I quite like it as its not the typical American-type movie and the story was unpredictable..wont wanna spoil it by telling u guys about what the story is about..so go watch it urself..:)

*warning: Brad Pitt doesnt look cute in this movie..but his acting was good!:)

Was kinda curious about wat the title "babel" means..so searched a bit and found some interesting facts..

*direct quote from internet* : The title refers to the story of the Tower of Babel in the Biblical Book of Genesis. In the story, the people of the world are all united and speak a common language. They begin to build a tower to reach the heavens and become godlike themselves. God, observing the arrogance of humanity, decides to confuse the language of the people and destroy the tower. When the people could no longer understand each other they gave up work on the tower and spread out to different parts of the world.

It also refers to the connections -or lack thereof- that come through the use of language. This film ultimately looks at the fact that we are all intimately connected on a life-and-death level, yet the trivialities of langauge and misunderstandings break us apart.

after so long..8 of us had lunch+dinner together at the loaders at around 4pm yesterday, as it was cheaper tat time..actually it was a delayed celebration of us finally passing the dreadful pharmacy practice 3! (but ironically we did not mention about pp3 at all yesterday..:P)

for me...this subject was definitely my nightmare! i made a lot of careless + stupid mistakes during the class tests..especially for VET prescriptions..kena deducted 90 marks for one of the prescriptions written for Whoopsie the cat (go to hell, Whoopsie! *ARGH!!*:P)..scored 0 marks for both the class tests..insulted by THE lecturer we disliked the most..who asked me to use COMMON SENSE to solve probs when i consulted her..:(

anyway..im just thankful that we've make it through..before putting a fullstop to this subject..i wanna thank suechoo and suokteng for their moral support (they've cooked many meals for us..planned for the Prague trip while kha hong and i struggled through the difficult subject..) thanks to kha hong..wil remember the times when we studied all the drug interactions together and encouraged each other.. and of course..to the gals...HAHA..all the stressful discussions we had back then seemed fun nw..e.g discussing the problems together while exchanging lame jokes, consulting the lecturers.. and laughing at each other's stupid mistakes during exams...i still think blur god peifong's mistake is one of the best..she wrote her patients' name wrongly..TWICE summore! She accidentally wrote one of her patients' name as ROBBIE WILLIAMS..kena deducted dunno hw many marks for that!!WAHAHA!!

with 8 girls together = taking pics + lots of laughter + gossiping + gossiping + gossiping..

when somebody gets drunk...

haha..what shud we do when somebody gets drunk? i've never been seriously drunk, not because im a good drinker..probably im jz too chicken to drink so much..and therefore..i oso have no experience in dealing with people who are drunk...

anyway..some people may start to dance..or turns into red apple..or started to vomit..singing..etc etc doing all the unexpected stuff..

bt today i've come across a fren(u noe who u're..haha!) who'll start to talk nonsense non-stop and laugh non-stop thru msn!!hw weird is that??!!i've no idea that he's drunk at first..just feels weird when he started saying..schizophrenia..paranoia..delirium tremens all of a sudden..(and btw..he's an engineering student!) and repeatedly typed hahahaha...kakakakaka.....hahahaha.....kakaka...

me: WAT the..!!!woi...dun keep on speaking so randomly can or not?

( now i noe hw all the fights happened after people get drunk...with people keeps saying that to u.. its hard not to follow their instructions..if he's in front of me...i think i'll start punching him oso!!!)

me: du isst scheisse!!!( u eat shit!)
him: wah...geng bo..scheissegal!!
me: *tut* (scolding in german)
him: *tut* back.. (ok..learn a german word today in scolding people)

and the lame conversation goes on and on...

then my other frens started putting captions dedicated to him..

its normal..dun worry..he wont die..(from his housemate)

and since he's talking randomly to other ppl as well..all my other frens refer back to his housemate...according to his housemate..its normal that he'll LAUGH AND LAUGH and tok nonsense when he's drunk..

and clever me..i actually found a solution to stop him toking nonsense..:)
after i mentioned the magic word (a gal's name)..he went quiet for quite some time..and the next few lines he typed was not as random or as weird..TATA!!he's back to 80% normal!!haha...and he actually told suokteng that im clever cos he felt normal d after i mentioned the name...WOW..the power of LOVE..hiak hiak!!!

today after class..

i came out from the lecture hall and busy chatting with kah yie..after a while..

me: hey..this is not where we came out yesterday ler!! (nw we're having lectures in another place which is different from last semester)

kah yie: yeah...there are 2 exits marr..we're using the other exitlar...hehe!

me: ooooooooooo.....ic...

...continue chatting while walking blindly...

me: eeee??why is everyone walking this direction?? (thinking to myself..weird..i thought our hostel is at the opposite direction..??)

kahyie: (a bit puzzled) yah..we're nw going to the workshop...

me: (!!!!!!!!) BUT......i dun have workshop nw!!!

kahyie:(speechless..looking at me blindly..)

me: my group's workshop is this afternoon!!

kahyie: (cant stop laughing) BLUR!!!!!!!!!!

and then.....i had to walk back to my apartment..and cant avoid telling the truth to st,sc and kh as they were surprised that i came bek so late...ARGHHHHH.......

and this afternoon.....i had no idea where my workshop was held at..end up going together with my other groupmates...and after reaching the building....we had to spend some time walking around the maze-like rooms (its really confusing ok??!!) until we could finally found our destination......and THE lecturer was already there...

this is really not a good start for my semester!!i dun understand why they've to have this workshop..tutorial...lecture in different places...OH NO!!!!!im rili bad at directions larr.....can already predict my life after this..endless searching and getting lost...
